Children Of The Himalayas

 


Lesson Plans

 

Make a travel brochure of your country.

You must include

the following.

 

Inside

1. Capital and Population

2. Geography-major landformation, rivers and border countries.

3. Ethnic groups and religions.

4.Three examples of Art, Literature, or Culture.

5. Biomes-climate, rainfall and agriculture.

6. Animal life,-at least 5 examples, including any Endangered Species that might live in your habitat.

7. Anything that is unique to your country that would make a visitor interested in traveling here!

 

Outside

Outside will be a picture/postcard that includes important sights that would attract a potential tourist.

You could use:

Landmarks, major cities and rivers, pictures of children/people, stamps or coins as images.

Include mountains, plateau or other geography.

Make it colorful, and have fun!

Use markers, colored pencils, clip-art or your own ideas

What games do you think

they might play?

What do families do for meals?

PLEASE Cite all your work whether web,

printed or other material on the back page.

Each project should have

at least 3 print and 3 web citations,

according to standard publishing rules.

4. Tourist Attractions-what would make you want to go there? What is unique

about this area?

5. Flora or Fauna (Animals or Plant Life unique to the area.
