COMPREHENSION

7. COMPREHENSIVE EXERCISES:

A) " Making Big Maps" introduced by Maureen Stephens will be a great project to check on the students' map knowledge and skills, and their comprehensive understanding of this unit. Making big maps requires the use of overhead projectors to enlarge the map on the wall. The students can trace the map and fill in the information they know about Tibet such as neighboring countries, mountains, rivers, cities, population, animals, etc.

B) Watching relevant video tapes is another good way to review what the students have learned in class. "Dreams of Tibet " will serve the above purpose. The tape can be purchased at the following number: 1-800-328-7271.
