Studying the Silk Road , and Buddhism in the Himalayas

This page is intended as a resource for Elementary teachers of American History and Secondary teachers of World History and World Religions. For ease of use, the website is subdivided into separate pages for each course.

Elementary school teachers will find lessons and materials for discovering the Silk Road and its significance to American History. Materials are organized into Location, Trade and Civilizations.

Secondary teachers will find lessons and materials for a five day, intensive course entitled Buddhism; History and Practice in the Himalayas . These materials are intended for the 11th-12th grade classrooms. This class is subdivided into Buddhist History, Literature, and Art.
