*Day one - Teacher explains and models lesson.
*Days two through three- Students create five rough drafts on sketch paper.
*Day four, five, plus+++ - Students create a large sacred circle on a 12"X 12" cloth.

Cloth can be a plain, white bandana ordered from an art resource supplier, cloth napkins, or          fabric sized and cut to the right size.

          1. Students begin this process by listing at least five things they consider to be sacred in their
              lives.
          2. Next, students will create a symbol for each.
          3. Using the symbols, students will create five rough drafts of potential sacred circles.
          4. Students will edit, modify, refine designs.
          5. Students will create a large version of a sacred circle using pencils, pens, markers or paint.
