Theme Social Media
Unit Overview   Social media use has been on the rise.  Through understanding the Chinese user’s views on this topic, students will be able to form their own opinion and make recommendation to their classmate, Mike.  Mike is going to China for an exchange program this coming summer. He wants to know how people in China use social media to stay connected and how he may use it to connect with his family/friends in the USA.  Since he has never traveled outside of the USA before, any suggestions on using social media will be helpful

Time suggested 8 days of 45 minute classes (5 days focused on reading)
